Comparison of Vortex and conventional exhaust systems

Vortex makes the exhaust work differently
Conventional exhaust systems by their design stifle engines. Exhaust pipes, silencers and catalytic converters rely on a build up of pressure to force gas through and out of the exhaust system. Consequently backpressure builds in the exhaust manifold reducing engine efficiency. By comparison, the revolutionary Vortex Performance exhaust vacuums exhaust gases out, vastly reducing manifold pressure and improving engine performance and efficiency.

Vortex mechanics are the key
The unique design of Vortex exhausts incorporates Vortex Mechanics - a system of swirl tubes with no moving parts, inside a central chamber - which creates a gas spinning effect within the exhaust system. This turbine effect draws exhaust gases out at high speed, allowing the engine to breathe and run more freely. The Vortex Performance exhaust has undergone 10 years of research and development, which has taken exhaust technology to a new level.

Vortex unparalleled power
No other exhaust system on the market gives a power increase like the Vortex Performance exhaust. This has been proved. The Vortex Performance exhaust easily outperforms the best high performance exhausts and we have the data to prove it.

Pressure drop in the Vortex Performance exhaust
Testing exhaust pressure in the tail pipe of a 1998 TF Magna test vehicle before and after the fitting of a Vortex Performance exhaust demonstrated a considerable drop in pressure in front of the vortex. The Vortex Performance exhaust replaced a sports muffler in this test.
